Parent information
Here’s some information about sessions, funding, fees and everyday nursery life. If you have any questions, please just speak to a member of our team — we’re always happy to help.
Sessions & fees
We’re open Monday to Friday during term time. Children can come for a morning, an afternoon or a full day.
We offer 15 and 30 hours of government-funded childcare for eligible children — see funding below.
| Half day (9am – 12pm) | £18 |
| Half day (12pm – 3pm) | £18 |
| Full day (9am – 3pm) | £36 |
Funding
We offer 15 and 30 hours of government-funded childcare for eligible children, with no extra charges for funded hours.
If you’re unsure whether your child is eligible or would like to know more about how the funding works, please speak to a member of our team, or use the links to find out more.
Everyday nursery life
We offer a healthy breakfast, provided by the nursery, where children can choose from bread, bagels, cereal and milk. We kindly ask families to provide packed lunches. Packed lunches must not contain chocolate, nuts or juice.
We ask families to bring their own nappies and wipes, if needed. If these essential items are occasionally forgotten, don’t worry — we will provide them at no extra cost.
We may offer opportunities for children to take part in trips or special events, and we’ll always clearly outline any costs. Trips are usually paid for using nursery funds and any contribution is voluntary.
Uniform isn’t compulsory, but many of our children do choose to wear it — it’s completely up to you. Sweatshirts and cardigans are available from the nursery office for £10 each. Just ask a member of the team about sizing.

Health
It can be hard deciding whether to keep a poorly child at home. Ask yourself:
If your child is staying at home, please let us know on the first day.
If your child has an accident at nursery, they will be looked after by one of our Paediatric First Aid trained staff, and we’ll let you know if we think they need further treatment or have had a bump to the head.
Coughs and colds: a minor cough or cold is fine for nursery. If it comes with a raised temperature, shivers or drowsiness, please keep your child at home until 24 hours after they feel better.
Raised temperature: please keep your child at home. They can come back 24 hours after they start to feel better.
Rashes: can be the first sign of illnesses like chickenpox or measles. Please check with your GP or practice nurse before bringing your child in.
Vomiting and diarrhoea: please keep your child at home until 48 hours after their symptoms have stopped.
Headaches and sore throats: on their own, these don’t usually mean staying at home. If they come with a raised temperature or drowsiness, please keep your child at home.
